Looking for the right people.

There comes a time in the lives of people when making what you need is better then buying what you need. Makers, and hackers do it on a daily basis. It may not look pretty like those machined manufactured parts. The beauty comes from knowing that you made it yourself. The Internets is populated with DIY projects, that anyone can read and attempt to follow. The problem comes when you need those tools that you can not got on your own. Other times the problem may be that your having “dumb” moment and can't just figure it out. (Do not feel embarrassed, everyone have one) When you need the right people to talk to or the tools that are outside your budget, find your local Hackerspace.

FreesideAtlanta is my residential hackerspace, but I am in need of bicycle specialists so my next best option is Sopo Bicycle Co-operative. There are a few bike shops with in my biking range, such as outback bikes and lighten up bikes, but I am looking for relationship that is not based on how many dollar I can trade for their services. Only time will tell if helping your fellow person in need, does not come with a price tag.
